As the driving force behind Jess May Makeup, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your desired vision, whether it's for everyday confidence, a fashion campaign or those special moments when you want to radiate with glamour. My makeup journey has been a labour of love, shaped by 8 years of experience from being published internationally in Vogue, working high-profile, household brands such as Wella, music videos and more. I maintain a commitment to stay at the forefront of industry trends.

I believe in makeup as an art form, a form of self-expression, and a means of boosting your self-esteem. My mission is to create looks that align with your vision and personality, all while enhancing your natural features.

I would describe my makeup style as "naturally enhanced, polished and awake". If you are looking for a Makeup Artist and love blushed cheeks, groomed brows, neutral soft tones and fresh skin then look no further, if you want something more Avant Garde, I am probably not your girl! Of course as an artist I believe self-expression to be important as well as the privilege of making you feel beautiful, confident, and empowered. Jess May Makeup is not just a makeup business; it's a partnership.

Above everything, I am a mum to a 2 year old sassy girl, Macey. They say you never love anything more than your children and that is true, she really is my daily inspiration with her contagious laugh and adrenaline streak, on that note I can't leave out my 2 other babies, my gorgeous French Bulldog Chimp and beautiful cat Tibby-May who have such a special bond together, I am very lucky. Not forgetting my partner Harry, my number 1 supporter. I am a huge travel lover! I have been incredibly lucky to visit and work in so many amazing places including Singapore, Maylasia, Cannes, Italy, Cuba, Bahrain to name a few, one of the reasons I love to travel is to try the local food if you ever visit Asia and love your spicy food please try Sambal, seriously it's addictive! If I'm not painting faces, I am usually in a supermarket (not a joke), spending precious quality time with my family, or watching a serial killer documentary.

It all started when I was around 11 and started getting pocket money, every 'pay day' I use to go into Mac Makeup and admire the staff, the makeup, the outfits, everything! With that, I started getting into fashion trends and magazines and how makeup, hair, clothing all went hand in hand to create 'a look'. I remember when one staff member said to me that she had done makeup for London Fashion Week and my eyes really lite up. I didn't want to go to sixth form, I wanted to do makeup but growing up in Cardiff I had to travel to the next town along everyday as nowhere else offered a Makeup Artistry course, I spent 2 years studying, then worked for Mac and Estee Lauder on a beauty stand, after that I went travelling so took sometime out of the industry, then after lockdown me and my partner decided it was better for us to move out of Cardiff and into the Midlands, and now I am a freelance artist commuting regularly to London and anywhere my amazing job takes me.
